Courtney Hassmann Debowlers
Handcrafted art meets everyday ritual. Made in collaboration with ceramic artist Courtney Hassmann, these Debowlers are small, functional ceramic bowls designed to help you easily “de-bowl” - clear out and ash your piece, pack a fresh bowl, or stash your rings on.
Each one is built with intention:
✸ Nerikomi technique: Layers of patterned clay are pinched and shaped, making every Debowler a one-of-a-kind work of art
✸ Distinctive patterns: From floral bursts to earthy swirls, each piece is ~3.5–4” across with organic variations in height and glaze
✸ Dual purpose: Equal parts tool and tabletop art, perfect for cleaning your piece or simply displaying as a ceramic statement
✸ Stamped signature: The bottom reads Courtney Hassmann & Lucy’s as a mark of collaboration and craft

COURTNEY HASSMANN
Courtney Hassmann is a ceramic artist drawn to the textures and forms of the natural world. Using the nerikomi technique, they layer patterned clay and shapes each piece through an intuitive pinching process, letting patterns shift and transform organically. Their work is rooted in functionality, designed to be touched, held, and used, while echoing the beauty and imperfection of rocks, sticks, and leaves found on a walk. Each object feels like a small treasure from nature, reimagined for daily life.
